New Year -  New Location.

Well the new year has come and gone and with it AHEA has moved into new premises in East Perth (closer to the CBD – you can now walk from the GPO   “it’s only 750 metres”).

The new location has allowed an increase in the number of rooms available as well as availability of more public transport. The free Yellow Cat service goes right past the front door and Mcgiver railway station in only 5 minutes walk. There is also an excellent cafe at the rear of the centre that provides a wide selection of foods.

Adding TAE40110 – Certificate IV in Training and Assessing.

We are in the process of upgrading our current Training and Assessing course to the new Certificate IV in Training and Assessing. AHEA didn’t want to rush the upgrade until after the typical refinements had been implemented. This now appears complete so we will soon be ready to go.  Don’t worry, under current government guidelines, trainers and assessors will not be required to hold the new Certificate IV until after 2012 and only if they are delivering training without direct supervision and provided they have “current competence”. Talk to us if you would like to clarify your personal needs.
